In the second quarter of 2024, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Spain demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and weekly active users, as per data from Sensor Tower. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps on a unified platform.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting at around 36K in early April and peaking at nearly 59K by the end of June. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, growing from approximately 912K in the first week of April to 1.1M by the last week of June.

Cabify saw a consistent rise in downloads, beginning with 26K in early April and reaching over 33K by the end of June. The app's weekly active users fluctuated slightly but maintained an upward trajectory, from about 301K in the first week of April to around 321K by the end of June.

For Bolt: Request a Ride, downloads increased from 21K in early April to about 29K by the end of June. Weekly active users also showed growth, starting at approximately 111K and ending the quarter at nearly 130K.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had a more varied performance in downloads, starting at 19K in early April, dipping mid-quarter, and then climbing to 25K by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at around 113K, dipping in May, and ending June at about 116K.

Lastly, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw a gradual increase in downloads from about 3.8K in early April to 5.6K by the end of June. Weekly active users also showed growth, from approximately 51K to 56K over the same period.
